Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates Limited are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Manufacturing Company in the Rochdale area for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The role is a group position, covering multiple sites with a mix of electrical and mechanical tasks and project support.

The successful candidate will hold City and Guilds qualifications, CompEx and a working knowledge of AC/DC drives and PLC systems, with 33 days holiday, life insurance and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds qualified
• CompEx
• A working knowledge of AC and DC drives and PLC systems
• ATEX equipment experience advantageous
• Electrical Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
• IPAF trained
• City and Guild 2391 testing

Responsibilities

• To carry out routine test and inspection on electrical systems and equipment
• To work safely within Health and Safety Procedures
• To support maintenance manager with projects and developments
• Maintain activities in ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and other standards
• Fill out reports and complete PPM schedules
• Identify and stock essential items at needed levels
• Some mechanical work and PLC programming/fault finding
• Flexible approach to overtime, shutdown work and call-outs
