Neuralink, with two California sites in South San Francisco and Fremont, seeks an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist/Engineer to lead day-to-day safety programs across both locations. You will maintain permits, manage hazardous waste, and collaborate with engineers to ensure safe processes, while advancing regulatory compliance and training.

This role requires hands-on ownership, ability to work across sites, and a proactive approach to evolving safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a health and safety role.
• 3+ years of experience handling hazardous materials.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EHS programs across two sites, SSF and Fremont.
• Maintain facility permits, registrations, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage hazardous waste lifecycle at both sites.
• Administer stormwater, industrial wastewater, SPCC, and soil programs.
• Translate new environmental and safety regulations into site programs.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to ensure safe processes.
