Job summary

Feralloy Corporation is seeking a proactive Multi-Site EHS Manager to oversee safety programs at two facilities: Feralloy in Charleston, SC, and All Metals in Spartanburg, SC. The role involves 60% travel to Charleston and 40% to Spartanburg, with on-the-floor leadership and a partnership with the corporate safety team.

You will lead safety meetings, investigations, and audits, while driving a culture of safety and coordinating third-party training through an LMS platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; 3+ years in safety or 5+ years in manufacturing with safety mindset.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general industry safety standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to travel between Charleston, SC and Spartanburg, SC.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Feralloy, Reliance, local, state, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Lead monthly safety meetings and daily toolbox talks.
• Support and manage internal safety suggestion program for improvements and analytics.
• Conduct investigations into near-miss reports and implement corrective actions.
• Perform regular hazard identification walkthroughs and coordinate safety audits.
• Deliver new hire safety orientation and maintain OSHA 300 logs.
• Monitor waste management operations in compliance with environmental regulations.

Feralloy is looking for a proactive and hands-on Multi-Site EHS Manager to oversee the safety programs at two of our key locations: Feralloy (Charleston, SC) and All Metals (Spartanburg, SC). You'll spend approximately 60% of your time in Charleston and 40% in Spartanburg, acting as the primary point of contact for all on-site safety matters at both facilities.This role requires regular presence on the floor, engaging directly with frontline employees through one-on-one conversations to build relationships, gather feedback, and promote a culture of safety from the ground up. While you'll operate independently at each location, you'll be supported by Feralloy's Corporate Safety Team and backed by modern tools, including a third-party safety training platform that simplifies monthly compliance through a robust catalog of online courses.

Job Function

• Ensure compliance with Feralloy, Reliance, local, state, and OSHA safety regulations
• Lead monthly safety meetings and daily toolbox talk program
• Support and manage internal safety suggestion program for improvements and analytics
• Conduct investigations into near-miss reports, report findings to senior management and safety committees and implement corrective actions
• Perform regular hazard identification walkthroughs
• Coordinate and lead internal and external safety audits
• Conduct monthly facility inspections
• Lead annual OSHA compliance training using a third-party LMS platform
• Act as the primary point of contact for workplace injuries, including incident reporting, workers’ compensation coordination, and root cause analysis with support of corporate safety team
• Coordinate and manage 3rd-party training programs including First Aid, CPR, LOTO simulation, fire/tornado drills, and confined space awareness.
• Deliver new hire safety orientation and ensure documentation is complete
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs and ensure all safety documentation is accurate and current
• Develop and maintain a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) library
• Manage SDS records via a third-party platform
• Other duties as required by plant/corporate safety
• Collect and analyze environmental and safety data, create reports, and present statistical analysis to leadership
• Also prepare status reports for HQ Safety
• Monitor waste management operations in compliance with environmental regulations, including waste handling and disposal

Required Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Driver's license/ Reliable transportation
• 3+ years of experience in a safety role or 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with a proven safety mindset
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general industry safety standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to travel between Charleston, SC and Spartanburg, SC

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or a related field
• Certifications such as GSP, ASP, or CSP
• Experience with digital tools such as Salesforce or Formstack (preferred but not required)
