Harmony Orthodontics in the Portland metro area seeks a part-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant (EFODA/EFDA) to join a dynamic, multi-site team traveling among Gresham, Sandy, Tualatin, and Camas. The role requires a positive, patient-focused mindset and strong clinical skills.

The position covers chairside assisting, digital records, and patient support with travel between clinics a daily expectation. Competitive pay and safety policies are provided.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of clinical orthodontic assisting experience.
• Active Oregon EFODA/EFDA certification.
• Active Radiology/X-Ray certification (RHS).
• Active BLS/CPR certification (Harmony funds recertification).
• Strong digital charting and dental practice management software skills (Cloud9 bonus).
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with excellent communication and attention to clinical detail.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring pre-employment drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Orthodontic chairside assisting during wire adjustments, bondings, appliance deliveries, and debonding.
• Take diagnostic records including intraoral photos, X-rays, and computer-guided impressions.
• Welcome families, ease treatment anxieties, provide clear oral hygiene instructions.
• Travel to support Gresham, Sandy, Tualatin, and Camas clinics.
