Job summary

ESS Clean, Inc. in Decatur, Illinois is seeking a Full-Time Floating Cleaner to cover multiple client sites. The role supports absences and staffing needs across accounts, requiring adaptability and reliability.

You will work Monday–Friday, 40 hours, 4:00 PM–1:00 AM, traveling between locations, learning building-specific procedures, and delivering consistent cleaning quality.

Not interested in doing the exact same thing in the exact same place every day? This might be the job for you! ESS Clean is hiring a Full-TimeFloating Cleaner for our Decatur, Illinois branch. This position is a little different from our regular cleaning roles. Instead of being assigned to one building, you'll work at different client locations, helping cover employee absences, scheduled time off, and other staffing needs. If you're dependable, adaptable, and enjoy a little variety in your workday, we'd love to hear from you!

This position is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule of 4:00PM-1:00AM.

What You'll Do

• Provide cleaning coverage at multiple commercial facilities throughout the Decatur area
• Learn different buildings, cleaning procedures, and client expectations
• Perform routine cleaning, including restrooms, floors, trash removal, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
• Adjust to different assignments and cleaning priorities as needed
• Work independently while maintaining ESS Clean's quality standards
• Help ensure our clients receive consistent service, even when their regularly assigned cleaner is unavailable

Previous cleaning experience is helpful, but not required.
