Job Description

The Multi-site Catering Lead will be a professional client-facing position. Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills with matching attire are required. This position will require barista and catering experience with driving capabilities to reach different locations within the downtown Philly area. This role requires being able to work independently and well with others.

Job Responsibilities

• Develops and is accountable for a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt.
• Facilitate external customer relations; represents Aramark and the client at any and all meetings and events.
• Ensures that appropriate sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met through the use of checklists, hands-on supervision, and follow-up.
• Participates in all catering training programs; helps to develop and implement training programs for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
• Aid in implementation and adherence to all Aramark OpX Catering initiatives and guidelines.
• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle credit card transactions.
  • Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
  • Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards.
  • Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
  • Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits.
  • Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work area.
  • Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.

Qualifications

• Preferred previous experience of two years operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous experience as a barista preferred.
  • Basic math & counting skills required.
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Must follow required dress code as assigned.
  • Able to read and communicate in English and able to follow recipes.
  • Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
