Job summary

You will read blueprints, measure materials, cut and assemble lumber, and install fixtures while meeting project timelines. The ideal candidate has carpentry experience, OSHA 10/30, tool proficiency, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven carpentry experience with materials, methods and tools.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
• Proficiency with power and hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to perform non-trade tasks as needed.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Take accurate measurements and calculate material quantities.
• Cut, shape, assemble, and install lumber and other materials.
• Install doors, windows, hardware, trim, cabinetry, shelving and finish carpentry.
• Perform rough and finish carpentry work for construction and renovation.
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
• Complete punch list items, including drywall repairs, trim touch-ups and hardware adjustments.
• Diagnose and resolve door, frame and hardware related issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Adhere to all company safety policies.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
