Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Project Manager - Capital Projects to lead its U.S. capital investment program across the travel plaza portfolio.

You will manage multiple complex projects from planning through opening, coordinating with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, and brand partners, architects, and contractors. This hands-on role requires strong ownership, organization, and the ability to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget while minimizing disruption to operations and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business or equivalent PM experience.
• 5+ years PM experience in construction, development, retail, restaurant/QSR, hospitality or related multi-site environments.
• Experience independently managing multiple concurrent construction or capital projects.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction documentation, change management, and closeout knowledge.
• Experience in active operating environments with minimal disruption to business preferred.
• Experience coordinating with general contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and external brand partners.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project locations and adjust work hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent capital projects through full lifecycle including scope, design, budgeting, procurement, permitting, construction, turnover and closeout.
• Develop budgets, schedules, forecasts, milestone tracking and status reporting; communicate risks to cost, schedule, quality, and operations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and brand partners to drive projects from concept through opening.
• Partner with Operations and Commercial teams to align execution with operational requirements and brand standards.
• Lead project meetings and site visits to monitor progress, safety, and coordination among trades.
