Multifamily Property Management

The Assistant Community Director assists the Community Director with daily property operations and manages the asset to meet operational and financial goals. Responsibilities include supervising on-site staff such as Resident Services Coordinators, Leasing Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, and others.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations: Implement owner philosophies and meet client expectations.
  • Communication: Maintain professional communication with residents, vendors, and team members; keep supervisor informed.
  • Employee Management: Operate in the absence of the Community Director; train new leasing staff.
  • Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy, assist with marketing, and ensure online listings are current.
  • Resident Relations: Promote resident retention, ensure safety, and complete move-in orientations.
  • Revenue Management: Assist with rent collections, lease management, and financial reporting.
  • Document Management: Maintain resident files and ensure confidentiality.
  • Facility Maintenance: Report and monitor maintenance needs, ensuring timely completion.
  • Other Duties: Enforce community rules, comply with laws, and represent the company professionally.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in residential property management preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in English; strong computer skills including MS Office, Google Apps, property management software.
