Job summary

H.B. Fuller in South Bend, IN is seeking a Production Operator to operate packaging and processing equipment, prepare materials, unload and label products, and ensure quality while complying with safety and EHS rules. The role requires basic education, ability to read work orders, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a basic education or high school diploma.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations and quality procedures.
• Willingness to work in all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and adhere to EHS rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and packaging, transport to production area and report deviations.
• Operate processing equipment according to instructions and procedures.
• Monitor equipment and keep processes running at target run rates.
• Complete initial testing and release of products to ensure specifications are met.
• Check labels and packaging to ensure correct labeling per rules.
• Package final products per instructions and quality standards.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area and comply with all procedures.
• Carry out other duties requested by Production Manager/Supervisor.
