Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Complex Manager at the Champaign Plant to supervise production activities across shifts, ensure GMP/SOP compliance, and manage how cost, safety, and quality targets are met. You will coordinate multiple Production Supervisors and partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvements within KHMS framework.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, with Lean and Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory and managerial experience (preferably in a food-manufacturing environment).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production line and equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal rules/regulations such as EEO, OSHA, FDA, USDA.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• Exposure to food processing systems including high speed production lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be a role model for KHMS through daily performance meeting structure and problem solving tools.
• Adhere to Kraft Heinz quality standards to ensure product quality and Food Safety by following GMPs, SOPs and KHMS specifications.
• Deliver costs and variances regarding productivity, short and long-range planning, labor scheduling, product scheduling, raw materials, packaging supplies, product weights, sanitation and housekeeping.
• Organize and facilitate production line activities to ensure conformance to safety, quality and productivity requirements.
• Work with Product Development, Suppliers, Engineering, Quality, and factory employees to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Support employee involvement in Safety, Problem Solving, Project Planning, vendor and customer relations.
