Qualifications

Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Pay:

$18.54 - $24.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Performs a variety of preparation, distribution, transportation, and sanitation functions in support of assigned areas.

Responsibilities:

1. Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested, including patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, monitors and other equipment.
2. Assists with the distribution of food and beverages to patients.
3. Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department. Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.
4. Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
5. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider or Heartsaver CPR within 90 days of hire.
