Position Overview

The Multi-Purpose Clerk may work in departments such as Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial. Responsibilities include promoting sales, assisting customers, handling special orders, practicing safe food handling, maintaining cleanliness, and stocking products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate checkstand, stock shelves, merchandise, and manage POS activities in the Front End.
• Inspect, log, and stock produce, maintain floral displays.
• Handle meat/seafood products, operate equipment, and provide customer service.
• Manage bakery/deli items, prepare products, take special orders, and operate equipment.
• Maintain store cleanliness, operate janitorial equipment, and perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $16.75 - $26.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with urgency, initiative, and flexibility.

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum six months in related roles.

Other: Availability for varied retail hours; physical ability to stand and lift up to 40 lbs.
