Job summary

Sentry Management, Inc. in Charleston, SC, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple associations.

You will coordinate with vendors, service providers, and residents while ensuring safe, quality work in common areas and building systems. The ideal candidate has prior maintenance experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have previous maintenance experience.
• Be professional, organized and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Able to stand, bend, climb and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to work in variable weather conditions.
• Possess general computer skills.
• Holding a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Inspect and maintain building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical.
• Repairs: Address and resolve resident repair requests in common areas.
• Grounds keeping: Maintain cleanliness and appearance of outdoor amenities.
• Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Work with external vendors and service providers for repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
