Job summary

A manufacturing leader in Tualatin is seeking a General Technician to support production processes such as pedestal assembly, paint preparation, and powder coating operations. This temporary position offers initial training and the chance to transition to full-time based on performance. Ideal candidates should possess mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. Compensation starts at $21-$23/hour based on experience, with Oregon Paid Sick Leave accrual.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Routinely lift, maneuver, and handle materials up to 30 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical assembly of precast concrete pedestals.
• Grind, fill, sand, and prepare concrete surfaces for coating.
• Load and unload parts on the powder coating line.

Skills

Ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks quickly

Mechanical aptitude
