Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• State Security Officer License required where applicable
• Certification in the use of weapons or State Armed License if required
• Valid Drivers' License if in driving position
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification may be needed
• Regularly stand, walk, sit and talk or hear; lift up to 25 pounds; vision requirements

Responsibilities

• Patrols buildings and grounds to detect infringements and ensure safety.
• Interviews guests and employees; confers with management regarding incidents.
• Responds to alarms, notifies police or fire department when needed.
• Writes investigation and automobile usage or security reports.
• Apprehends unauthorized persons and maintains order as required by law and policy.

Education
