Job summary

Waldensecurity is seeking reliable security personnel for a range of posts at industrial and commercial sites in Charlotte, NC. The role requires flexibility to work all schedules and be available for short-notice call-offs, with duties including post coverage, patrolling, incident reporting, and access control.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, licenses/certifications where applicable, and a valid driver's license. CPR/First Aid may be required depending on the post.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• State Security Officer License; Certification in the use of weapons; Armed license if required.
• Valid Driver's License; CPR/AED/First Aid Certification may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Patrols buildings and grounds, lobbies, and public rooms; confers with management and interviews guests and employees.
• Responds to disturbances, thefts, vandalism, and accidents; investigates and reports incidents to supervision.
• Drives radio-equipped patrol car to check alarms and locate sources of alarms; notifies authorities when needed.
• Performs access control and enforces rules (loitering, smoking, restricted articles); reports irregularities to supervisors.

Education
