Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistently excellent client experience across locations. You will set expectations for consultative service, oversee staffing and facilities, and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to deliver exceptional guidance and a welcoming environment.

You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on presence, drive performance, and ensure readiness for seasonal demand while achieving revenue

Qualifications

• Leads multiple offices with a focus on client experience and operational excellence.
• Coaches Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to deliver high-quality service.
• Manages staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day office readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to drive improvements.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools with visible leadership.
• Lead teams by setting clear expectations and coaching for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, performance, and feedback.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, operational performance, and business outcomes.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results and client acquisition.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, supplies, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
