Job summary

MUSC Health Emergency at Kiawah Partners Pavilion is hiring a Multi-Modality Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across X-ray and CT, ensuring safe, high-quality exams and compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate will have graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, 2+ years of diagnostic imaging and CT experience, ARRT and SCRQSA registration, and BLS certification. Team-based, patient-focused care is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT; emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams preferred.
• Must be registered with ARRT and SCRQSA; radiography (R) and CT (C).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality imaging and patient care in X-ray and CT.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure understanding and competence.
• Produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists in a team-oriented environment.

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is excited to expand imaging services at our brand-new Kiawah Pavilion ER, bringing world-class care closer to the local community. We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Multi-Modality Technologist to join our growing imaging team.
In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities with a focus on delivering safe, high-quality exams and compassionate patient care. Job Description

Multi-modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient carewithin X-ray and CT. Technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedures to the patient and be sure they are competent in the procedure being performed. Technologist must produce images for the interpretation, and or request of, a licensed practitioner.

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Experience: Required 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic imaging & CT. Preferred experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams in both modalities. Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision. Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be familiar with age specific criteria.

Required Registration/Certification:

• Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) & South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
  Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
