• Demonstrates competency in delivery of care and clinical techniques including CPR, vital signs, ECG, wound care with suture setup, orthopedic splinting, point-of-care testing, eye and ear irrigation, blood glucose checks and emergency response.

Responsible for preparing and operating x-ray equipment during diagnostic patient exams while exercising procedures safely and accurately to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis

Principal Accountabilities:

• 1. Prepares equipment for imaging tests, based on physicians' orders and in adherence to department safeguards and protocols to ensure quality results.
• 2. Prepares patient and performs radiology procedures.
• 3. Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and clinical techniques with scope of practice such as basic CPR, vital signs, visual acuity, electrocardiogram, wound care including suture set-up, orthopedic splinting, Point of Care testing, assisting with eye and ear irrigation, blood glucose checks and throat swab specimen collection and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• 4. Maintains records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements.
• 5. Performs incidental general office duties to include; answering phone; scheduling; filing; maintaining patient records; ordering supplies.
