Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a radiology support professional to prepare and operate x-ray equipment during diagnostic exams, following physician orders and safety protocols. You will assist with patient preparation, perform radiology procedures, and help maintain accurate records in a clinical setting.

The role requires competency in CPR, vital signs, ECG, wound care, splinting, POCT, and phlebotomy-like tasks, with emergency response readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing imaging equipment and performing radiology procedures per physician orders.
• Competency in basic CPR, vital signs, ECG, wound care, splinting and point-of-care testing.
• Record keeping and general office duties per department protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment for imaging tests based on physicians' orders and safeguards.
• Prepares patient and performs radiology procedures.
• Maintains records and logs per licensure and department protocols.
• Performs incidental general office duties: phone, scheduling, filing, and records.
• Assists with emergency situations as trained and required.
• Other duties as assigned.
