Job Summary

This role requires solid to expert knowledge of the modality for cross-training. The technologist communicates and works independently, performing procedures on patients from newborns to adults. They prioritize and promote quality patient care, support facility standards, and demonstrate critical thinking and accountability.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree
• Graduate of AMA-approved radiologic technology school

Experience

• Two years of diagnostic experience in an acute care setting is desirable.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current ARRT certification (R) with CE compliance; additional certifications (VI, CV, MRI) within one year of cross-training start date.
• Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (TMB)
• ARRT MRI certification within one year; CT certification within six months.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
