Full-Time Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist (MRI and X-ray)

Job Description

Reporting to the Radiology Manager, this position performs imaging examinations in two or more modalities. The role involves working across various imaging sections based on operational needs.

• Interacts professionally with co-workers, visitors, and staff, aligning with Jefferson's values.
• Operates radiologic equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Monitors patient condition during procedures and alerts physicians to any complications.
• Provides radiologists with high-quality images to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensures compliance with all radiologic safety regulations.
• Properly positions patients and equipment; administers oral or injectable contrast when necessary.
• Creates and maintains reports on patient data and radiologic procedures.
• Work schedule is rotating between modalities, based on operational needs.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: Associates degree preferred

Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in primary modality and 1 year in secondary modality

Certifications/License: ARRT, RDMS, or NMTCB required for both primary and secondary modalities
