Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a Tech - Multi Modality to perform MRI, CAT Scan, routine radiography, and angiography. The role requires proficiency in two modalities, including radiography, and a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The Tech will guide students, train colleagues, and maintain professional standards while contributing to a culture of exemplary patient care within the hospital environment in Amarillo, TX.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• Maintains ARRT certification.
• State of Texas General Radiology License.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection, infection control and environment control.
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Demonstrate leadership by supervising students and giving feedback on performance.
• Train fellow technologists in their modality and serve as a professional role model.

Position: Tech - Multi Modality

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of technical procedures which may include: M.R.I., CAT Scan, Routine Radiography and Angiography. The Tech - Multi Modality should be proficient in two areas, including Radiography.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

The Tech - Multi Modality will comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection, infection control and environment control. Provide an environment conducive to safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors. Utilizes the appropriate leadership skills in supervising students and providing feedback concerning their performance. Has the ability to train fellow technologists in their particular modality. Has communication and problem resolution skills and is a professional role model.
