Job description

Job Description: Specialty Multi-Modality Technologist

Sign-on Incentive: $25,000 available for offers accepted by June 30, 2025. Terms and Conditions apply.

The Specialty Multi-Modality Technologist performs routine and complex high-quality imaging exams across assigned modalities. They provide safe, patient-centered care, addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients of all age groups.

The role requires willingness and ability to learn new skills and maintaining annual competencies in assigned modalities.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or
  • Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or
  • ARRT (S) as a Sonographer, RDMS, CCI certification in Medical Sonography, RDCS in Cardiac Sonography, or RVT as a Vascular Technologist, along with at least one of the following specialty certifications: MRI, CT, PET, Mammo, VI/CI/CCI.
Requirements for Continued Employment:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
  • Same certifications as for hire.

The team member must work in both modalities, rotating as requested, and meet eligibility for the multi-modality role, progressing to Clinical Ladder Level 2 within 24 months of hire.

Experience and Education:
  • Required: 1 year of technologist work experience; graduation from accredited programs in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography.
  • Preferred: 1-3 years of experience, experience in an academic medical center, Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
Additional Requirements:

Performs independently, adhering to safety standards, departmental protocols, and institutional policies. No supervisory responsibilities. Must follow specific job descriptions and scopes of practice, with schedules including shift rotations, possibly requiring weekend or after-hours work as
