Job summary

Diley Ridge Medical Center is seeking a part-time CT Technologist for the 12-hour night shift. You will perform CT procedures with a focus on optimal image quality and provide direct patient care with independent judgment on a busy medical campus.

Working within the Diagnostic Imaging team, you should have 2+ years in imaging, a radiologic technology credential, and Ohio licensure. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma Required; Radiologic Technology Program associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Licensure: ARRT registered radiographer or registry eligible; Ohio Radiological License required; CT/MRI registry preferred
• Experience: 2+ years in imaging preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Current CPR certification
• Able to perform professional duties with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures with image quality at a technical level.
• Performs varied technical and non-technical tasks and direct patient care activities requiring independent judgment.
• Provides patient care and supports safety and quality initiatives within the Imaging department.
• Fulfills on-call coverage and participates in weekend/holiday rotations.

Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy. Ensures a high level of accuracy.

Critical Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of CT / X-ray procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
• Performs diagnostic x-ray exams with consistent and optimal image quality.
• Performs a variety of exams and is experienced in at least one modality with minor experience in another or willing to be trained based on licensure.
• Assists with Medical staff duties as possible to maintain workflow through the departments

Other Job Responsibilities

• Not responsible for supervisory duties but may be designated as Acting Supervisor or Take-Charge Supervisor in the absence of the Diagnostic Imaging Lead.
• Responsible for compliance with Organizational Integrity through raising questions and promptly reporting actual or potential wrongdoing.
• Participates in and coordinates with organizational process to collect and evaluate information about hazards and safety practices that are used to identify safety management issues. Adheres to established policies and procedures, which may include wearing of personal protective equipment.
• Participates in and fosters a performance improvement approach that includes both intradepartmental and interdepartmental activities.
• Fulfills on-call coverage requirement and participates in the weekend & holiday rotations.
• Assists in maintaining supplies.
• Accepts other responsibilities as assigned.
