Job summary

UF Health Tampa seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist qualified to perform MRI, CT, diagnostic US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography or Nuclear Medicine procedures. Must support second modalities and provide on-call coverage as needed to ensure continuous patient care.

Requires high school Diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline. Preferred Associate's in Radiologic Technology; BLS, and licensure/certification in two modalities; 1–2 years clinical radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.
• Able to communicate exams/procedures to patients.
• Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot.
• Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment.
• Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call coverage for two or more modalities as needed.
• Support second/modality operations on a routine basis.
• Deliver patient centered radiology care with standard practices.
