Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• National certification from ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS based on modality.
• Active licensure by state regulatory agency as applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
• Must rotate and cover modalities with at least two certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders.
• Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment.
• Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information.
• Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable.
• Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements and maintains safety.
