Job summary

Westchester Medical Center is seeking a Multi Modality Radiology Technologist to operate complex x-ray equipment and perform radiographs across designated body areas. This role supports physicians in detecting foreign bodies and diagnosing diseases and injuries.

The candidate will properly position patients, develop x-rays, and maintain radiographic files. CAT Scan equipment operation and potential supervision of staff are included as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a hospital x-ray department or radiological lab performing diagnostic work.
• Requires Radiologic Technologist license (NY), current registration.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.

Responsibilities

• Proper patient positioning.
• Developing x-rays.
• Maintain radiographic files for prescribed period.
• Operate CAT Scan equipment in assigned specialty area.
• Partial supervision over x-ray staff for QC and technical assistance.
• Perform other related duties.
