Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate all diagnostic radiology equipment in the Cath Lab and support CT, MR, IR or other modalities.

You will review orders, adjust technical factors, and ensure high-quality images while minimizing radiation. California CRT license and fluoroscopy licensure required; ARRT and BLS preferred; two years’ acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in three modalities (i.e. CT, MR, IR, or Cath Lab) preferred.
• Diploma from a certified school of radiology technology.
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• Current California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy licensure required.
• Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license preferred
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
• CPI required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic radiology equipment in the Cath Lab department and related modalities as assigned.
• Adjust technical factors and position patients to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Review physician orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Complete orientation and competency requirements as required by department.
