Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program; ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS certifications; BLS required.
• Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred; rotation across modalities and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders and policies.
• Educates patients/families regarding procedures and treatments; demonstrates professionalism and teamwork.
• Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information.
• Performs prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable per policies.
• Performs and evaluates equipment quality control; troubleshoots and maintains a safe environment.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities.
• Monitors workflow and ensures adequate inventory to avoid interruptions.
