FTE: 0.80 (32.00 hrs)
Shift: Shift 2
M-Th 0930-8pm, Fri 0930-6pm, Sat/Sun 8am-4pm
7 on, 7 off rotation.
Under the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures, and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies following specific guidelines and protocols while ensuring radiation safety. Provides excellent customer service and communicates effectively with patients, visitors, and staff. Assists in patient care areas as needed. Currently working in 2 or more modalities with advanced certification in Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, or Mammography. Other duties as assigned.
One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.
Post high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years of college coursework or a healthcare-related undergraduate degree is preferred.
ARRT registration and current Wisconsin Radiographer license are required. Certification in CT, Mammography, or Bone Densitometry within 18 months of hire/transfer is required. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
