Job summary

Banner Health Corporate in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist to perform a range of imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, DEXA, breast ultrasound and angiography for timely interpretation.

Role requires ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS certs as applicable, BLS, and at least 2 years of radiologic technologist experience. You will collaborate with radiology staff and clinicians to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• National certification from ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS as applicable based on modality.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures by following orders and established policies.
• Educates patients/families about procedures and provides safe care.
• Produces high quality images and documents results for interpretation.
• Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures when applicable.
• Performs equipment QC and troubleshoots to maintain performance.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff in compliance with safety policies.
• Maintains confidentiality of all work information and adheres to ethical standards.
• Ensures efficient departmental workflow and adequate inventory to avoid interruptions.
