Job summary

You will operate various imaging equipment, position patients for exams, and serve as a clinical resource to staff while upholding current standards of practice on the unit. Strong communication and leadership in a compassionate care setting are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of imaging experience is required.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT CT/MR/M, and R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) ; R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT) credentials are required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures with safety for self, patients, and others.
• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family and responds to their needs.
• As assigned by management, performs technologist duties of other registered modality.
• Observes patient and equipment, reports any unusual occurrences and patient's condition.
