The position requires supervising students, training colleagues, and providing professional role-model leadership while ensuring quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• Maintains Current ARRT certification.
• State of Texas General Radiology License (Texas Medical Board).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection, infection control and environment control.
• Provide an environment conducive to safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors.
• Utilizes leadership skills in supervising students and providing feedback on performance.
• Train fellow technologists in their modality.
• Exhibit communication and problem-resolution skills as a professional role model.
