Job summary

The primary responsibility of a multi-modality technologist performs any 2 combination of procedures with related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, and at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

Qualifications

• Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute or approved program (preferred).
• Certification and registration with ARRT or RDMS or CNMT (required).
• 1 year of experience in healthcare environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs duties for any 2 imaging modalities (e.g., XR, CT, MRI).
• Operates equipment, follows approved protocols and safety procedures.
• Obtains patient history and lab work as documented for licensed practitioners.
• Verifies patient identity and documents the procedure requested.
• May perform venipuncture and administer medications/contrast as prescribed.
• On-call scheduled as required.
