Job summary

Mercy Health Mount Orab seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist 2 to perform two imaging modalities with appropriate protocols. The role involves operating imaging equipment, collecting patient histories, and ensuring safety and accuracy in data capture.

The candidate should hold ARRT/RDMS/CNMT certified status with plans to certify in a second modality within 12 months, and may require CDL for mobile mammography locations. On-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute or approved Nuclear Medicine/Ultrasound program.
• ARRT, RDMS, CNMT certifications required; obtain second cert within 12 months.
• Competent in two modalities with plan to certify within 12 months.
• CDL required for locations with mobile mammography program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) at hire for certain Mercy Health sites; licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties for two imaging modalities (e.g., XR, CT, MR).
• Operates equipment and follows modality-specific workflows and protocols.
• Obtains patient history and requested labs; document for practitioner use.
• Applies radiation protection and patient safety measures.
• Verifies patient identification and procedure requested.
• Performs venipuncture and IV access as needed.
• Administers medications/contrast per order; uses power injector if required.
• On-call duties scheduled as required.
