Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Multimodality Radiology Technologist to work across General Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Mammography and other modalities as needed.

The role emphasizes accurate imaging, patient safety, and clear communication with patients and Medical Center personnel. Eligible for a sign-on bonus for full-time day or evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology completed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Operate in multiple radiology modalities as needed (General Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Mammography, Interventional, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine/PET).
• Maintain image quality and patient safety; document procedures and results.
• Interact professionally with patients and Medical Center staff during shifts.

The Multimodality Tech is a Radiology Tech who is trained, qualified and competent in at least two of the below disciplines. The technologist is expected to work in any area for which they are qualified based on the operational needs of the department.
- General Diagnostic Radiology
- CT
- MRI
- Mammography
- Interventional Radiology
- Ultrasound
- Nuclear Medicine/PET

*Eligible for up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time Multi-Modality Technologist positions on the Day or Evening shift who accept a job offer.

(The Multi-Modality position must include crossover exclusively within CT, Mammography, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine to achieve eligibility for the sign-on bonus).

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R).
• Registration with the ARRT - one or more of the following modalities: MRI (or ARMRIT), CT, Xray, IR, or Mammography.
• NJ state license and Certification in Nuclear Medicine only if secondary modality is in Nuclear Medicine.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
