Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Multi Mission Program Manager to lead cross-functional aerospace programs across manufacturing and operations. You will translate strategy into executable plans, manage risk, and drive schedule integrity in a high-velocity production environment.

This role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, program teams, and shop floor leaders to align day-to-day execution with strategic goals. A PMP is preferred, with strong communication and leadership across multiple orgs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in program/project management in manufacturing or operations.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong communication and collaborator management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives involving manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams.
  • Translate operational strategy into executable plans with clear achievements, owners, and dependencies.
  • Drive schedule integrity by identifying risks, resolving constraints, and ensuring alignment across all collaborators.
  • Collaborate with Work Center Leaders, Engineering, and Program teams to handle both baseline demand and emergent work.
  • Establish and maintain mechanisms for tracking progress, risks, and performance (schedule, cost, efficiency).
  • Facilitate decision-making by providing clear, data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Own communication rhythm (tier meetings, executive updates, cross-functional syncs).
  • Drive accountability across teams through structured follow-up and addressing blocking issues when needed.
  • Support CapEx planning and operational readiness initiatives tied to production scaling.
  • Lead change management efforts to integrate new processes, tools, or program requirements.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. The Multi Mission Program Manager position at Blue Origin offers an outstanding opportunity to directly impact the history of space exploration! You will drive execution across manufacturing and operations programs within a high-velocity aerospace production environment, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and day-to-day execution.

  • Strong execution bias in complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to influence without authority across multiple orgs.
  • Experience managing high-velocity production or integration environments.
  • Skilled in translating strategy -> plan -> execution (SPE approach)
  • Strong business insight with operational decision-making focus.
  • Clear, concise communicator across all levels (shop floor -> exec)
  • Ability to handle both tactical details and strategic alignment at the same time.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in program/project management in manufacturing or operations.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong communication and collaborator management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace or high-complexity manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with schedule management tools, EVMS, or production systems.
  • PMP or equivalent certification.

Paid Time Off
