Multi-Media Advertising Account Executive

Position Overview:

Sierra H Broadcasting is on the lookout for experienced media sellers to join our vibrant sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and presenting innovative marketing plans that leverage our diverse media platforms, including broadcast, digital, events, video, social, and web. This position requires a balance of traditional media strategies and modern digital solutions to create effective, customized programs for our advertising partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and present comprehensive marketing plans to local, direct decision-makers.
2. Utilize our broad range of media capabilities to design tailored solutions for clients.
3. Excel in prospecting new business opportunities and building lasting relationships.
4. Solve problems creatively and ethically to meet client needs and drive results.
5. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve company goals and support one another.
6. Cultivate relationships with new and existing accounts to grow revenue.
7. Ability to create, present and sell multi-media proposals including all assets: radio, digital, event sponsorships, etc.
8. Accurately forecast revenue to management and provide clear and concise recaps including proof of performance to clients.
9. Work closely with support staff and other departments to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
10. Understand and proficiently use all research and marketing resources provided by the station.
11. Be available for weekend and evening supervision and participation in station or client events outside of the normal business hours of Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.
12. Other duties as deemed necessary by your manager.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in media sales, with a strong understanding of both traditional and digital media.
2. Exceptional prospecting, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
3. Creative, tenacious, and motivated to deliver results.
4. High ethical standards and a commitment to helping local businesses grow.
5. Superior written and verbal communication skills.
6. Professional appearance and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
7. Ability to design, deliver and execute marketing strategies and presentations.
8. Prior demonstrated prospecting experience through cold calling, networking, and meeting functions.
9. Proven track record of reaching sales targets and revenue goals.
10. Strong computer skills, proficient with Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
11. Must have reliable personal transportation.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Must be willing to work from office in Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid Schedule).
2. Must have a valid driver’s license.
3. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
