Summary

This position requires solid computer skills and the ability to multitask with multiple processes running simultaneously. Responsibilities include operating automated band saws, weld ring rollers, electrode grinders, fixture and heat treat assembly/disassembly, heat treat operations, oxidize operations, and forklift operation.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate and troubleshoot heat-treat equipment.
• Use tape measures and computer interfaces effectively.
• Maximize uptime for heat treat operations.
• Operate heat treat software proficiently.
• Communicate effectively with other shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with machining and scheduling departments to prioritize work.
• Operate band saw software and manual lathe for rolling copper and steel weld rings.
• Work closely with team leaders and co-workers.
• Support production needs and assist other operators.
• Adapt to challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Maintain organized work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
