Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Technician to support both Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine across the South region, including Quakertown, Center Valley and Upper Perkiomen locations.

This role focuses on clerical and clinical duties to ensure smooth operations and quality patient care as a vital member of the Care Now service line. Responsibilities include patient data collection and registration, triage, preparing exam rooms, assisting with testing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Medical terminology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collects and updates patient demographics and insurance information; completes registration in the EMR (Epic and Systoc).
• Assesses patient acuity, escorts patients to exam rooms, collects medical history and vital signs.
• Schedules patients for specialty providers and other clinical services as needed.
• Performs point-of-care testing per protocol and maintains equipment and exam rooms.
• Assists nursing staff and providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows safety and privacy policies.
• Demonstrates PCRAFT values in interactions and supports performance improvements.
• Ensures efficient use of resources in daily procedures and routines.
