Job summary

Thomas Olesen - State Farm Agent in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated team member to assist customers with insurance products and services. No license required initially, with employer support to obtain state licenses as needed, and a growth-focused environment.

You will help develop relationships with clients across lines of coverage, support daily operations, and participate in local marketing efforts to raise community awareness.

About our Agency

Our agency opened in December 2025, and we're excited to be building something special with a small but growing team. Before becoming an agent, I worked as a State Farm team member, which gave me a firsthand look at how rewarding it can be to help customers protect what matters most. Before insurance, I worked in massage therapy and muscle activation therapy, so serving others has always been at the heart of what I do.

I'm originally from the Dallas area, attended Parker University, and am happily married. One of the things I enjoy most about agency ownership is creating an environment where people can grow, succeed, and genuinely enjoy coming to work.

We like to call our culture \"Hot Dang Insurance!\" because we bring energy, positivity, and a sense of fun to what we do every day. We're a close-knit team that supports each other, celebrates wins together, and works hard to take great care of our customers.
