Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a Multi-Imaging Technologist to perform and supervise diagnostic imaging across modalities, ensuring accurate anatomy visualization and patient comfort.

You will apply radiation safety, proper positioning, infection control, and QC knowledge while mentoring students as part of your training.

Qualifications

• Active radiography license and ARRT-R certification.
• Certification within 12 months for advanced modality credentials.
• Ability to supervise students during patient care.

Responsibilities

• Explain exams to patients and address anxiety.
• Position patients and ensure image quality.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Supervise and evaluate student trainees.

Responsibilities

The Multi-Imaging Technologist must demonstrate thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. Communicates to patients the nature of the exam and relieve their anxiety. Demonstrates an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. Demonstrates the ability to supervise students providing patient care, treatment and services as part of their training.
