Job summary

Norton Healthcare in Louisville is seeking a Multi-Imaging Technologist who demonstrates thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology and image quality to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires clear patient communication to explain exams and ease anxiety, expert patient positioning and radiation safety, infection control and quality control, plus supervising students during training at Norton West Louisville Hospital.

Responsibilities

The Multi-Imaging Technologist must demonstrate thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. Communicates to patients the nature of the exam and relieve their anxiety. Demonstrates an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. Demonstrates the ability to supervise students providing patient care, treatment and services as part of their training.
