Job summary

Charlotte Mechanical is seeking an experienced Skilled Plumber to join our Raleigh project team, focusing on rough-ins and fixture installation for multi-family construction.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, and work independently while upholding safety and quality standards. We offer competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience.
• Rough-in plumbing and fixture installation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must have reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems per project specs and codes.
• Perform rough-ins including underground, waste, vent, water, and storm piping.
• Install and set fixtures, trim, and equipment.
• Read blueprints and specifications; measure and cut pipe.
• Test systems for leaks and proper operation; troubleshoot issues in the field.
• Coordinate work with project supervisors and other trades.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow company safety policies.
