Job summary

REH Company in Utah seeks a Shared Services Accountant to support general ledger, payroll workflows, treasury, and tax across portfolio entities under the Assistant Controller.

You will maintain SOPs, perform journal entries and reconciliations, assist cash reporting, multi-location payroll, AP, and tax tasks using Oracle NetSuite, UKG Pro, and Excel.

Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal and property leadership to ensure accurate financial execution and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and multi-entity workflows.
• Experience with ERP systems, payroll/HRIS platforms, and banking portals.

Responsibilities

• Support journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and month-end close.
• Maintain clean general ledger records for centralized shared services transactions across portfolio entities.
• Draft and maintain SOPs and process documentation for continuity and training.
• Assist Treasury with daily cash reporting and cash positioning visibility across units.
• Process weekly multi-location payroll and resolve payroll inquiries and adjustments.
• Support Accounts Payable workflows and vendor setups; back-up during peak cycles.
• Assist Tax Director with monthly use tax, sales tax, payroll tax, and reconciliations.
