Job summary

Cross Company in Fairview, TN, is seeking a Full Time Calibration Technician to perform quality calibrations according to corporate standards. You will handle instruments across temperature, pressure, flow, and more, with setup and documentation responsibilities essential to compliance.

The role requires strong knowledge of precision measurement equipment, gage software, and MS Office, plus excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient with precision measurement equipment and calibration principles.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate across core disciplines: Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Vibration, Mass, Electrical, Electronics, Time, Frequency, RF, Torque, Force, and Dimension.
• Prepare for on-sites by reviewing equipment lists, procedures, and specifications.
• Ensure calibration stickers, work orders, worksheets, tags, and customer contact information are in place.
• Maintain all tools and equipment in calibration and proper working order.
• Provide original data worksheets for final inspection by Quality.
• Complete certificates of calibration and perform quality inspection as approved by Quality Manager.
• Complete certificates for on-site and in-house calibration within 48 hours of job completion.
• Maintain safety mindset and professional conduct; ensure good attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
