JOB TITLE: Multi-Dimensional Family Recovery Specialist (MDFR Specialist)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours/wk
SCHEDULED HOURS: Flexible availability required per family's schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm & Friday 9am-5pm
PROGRAM/LOCATION:SAFE Family Recovery, Middletown, CT; *Community Based in and potentially around Middlesex County*

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: SAFE FAMILY RECOVERY
The Safe Family Recovery Program encompasses 3 separate programs of which this position will implement the MDFR (Multidimensional Family Recovery) model approach and employees in this role will become certified in the model as they get cases and receive training and consultation by the model developer.
MDFR is an evidence based program that addresses the complex, multi-generational challenges facing families affected by parental substance use and involvement in the child welfare system. MDFR works to address change in the following 6 domains:
1. Child Functioning & Safety
2. Parent/Individual functioning
3. Family relationships
4. Intimate Partner relationships
5. Parenting/Co-parenting
6. Basic needs/ community resources

Position Highlights
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education: Bachelor’s degree in mental health related field
Experience: At least two (2) years’ experience in a adult substance use field. Excellent verbal communication skills, computer literacy.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver’s license.
Training: Will attend all required program trainings.

COMPENSATION *:
Starting at $18.00/hr min., and up commensurate upon experience.
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as, adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
