Job summary

HD Supply in Burlington, NJ is seeking a General Warehouse Associate to work across multiple distribution center departments including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory and support daily distribution tasks.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and adherence to safety policies. Prior DC experience is preferred and training may be provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in a distribution center or related setting.
• Ability to understand written material and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to locate and move products within the facility.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Use packing lists to collect items for orders and build/ wrap pallets as needed.
• Inspect stock for wear or defects and report issues to management.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage locations.
• Maintain clean work areas in line with safety policies.
• Perform inventory control functions as needed.
